SOMETHING WORTH WAITING FOR

This romantic comedy follows the poignant but hilarious journey of Clarissa Rodney, a young television producer overwhelmed with loneliness and the ticking of her own biological clock. Then she is assigned to create a ridiculous reality-dating series for Christians. When she casts her former lover as "God's Bachelor," she struggles to reconcile the demands of her ultra-religious lifestyle with her romantic needs.

MAKE IT RAIN

The worlds of exotic dancing, exotic drugs and the sex trade attract thousands of young women desperate for money and affection. In many cases, the glamour on the surface can make them forget that all that glitters isn't gold. Our heroine, deeply entrenched in these worlds, has begun to realize that her lifestyle holds more control over her destiny than she does.

Based on a true story, Make it Rain is a film about all the classic conundrums of feminity: career, romance, individuality, providing for family and the power of attraction. All these defining factors of a woman's life combust in a tale that never shys away from the grit of reality, but remains true to the heart.

THE COLORED ARISTOCRACY OF ST. LOUIS

It's widely known that there was a vibrant society of free blacks in antebellum Philadelphia. That there was such a community - and quite a wealthy one at that - in St. Louis is far less known. The titular brochure by Cyprian Clamorgan, written in 1858, shares some of the details of that community. Written in a style that's much less history book and much more US Weekly, the brochure provides an entertaining and informative look at the lives of entrepreneurial free blacks in Missouri.

Working with Professor Julie Winch, the Missouri Historical Society and some of the descendants of the Aristocracy, this documentary will capture the original fun Clamorgan intended in his brochure.
